Snooki, Catfish, Awkward. MTV Announcements.

MTV made a few show announcements this week:

"Catfish, based on the eponymous documentary, follows couples who have fallen in love online but have never met in person." Ummm anyone who has seen this movie knows it's about a LOT more than that. It isn't just True Life: We Met Online.

Snooki & JWoww will follows the two friends living in Jersey City. Debuts on Thursday, June 21 at 10/9c. "The new show will document their now toned-down lives. Each is involved in a serious relationships, and Snooki is also pregnant." Wondering how this works in with the new season of Jersey Shore? I thought that was filming during Snooki's third trimester.

Awkward is back on Thursday, June 28 at 10:30/9:30c!

New show, "Inbetweeners is based on the U.K. series which show follows the life of suburban teenager Will and three of his friends."Yes! I watched this series online and it is hilarious! I had heard it was in development for ABC maybe... but I'm glad it is going on cable.

"Zach Stone is Gonna be Famous is a single camera, 12-episode, series starring Bo Burnham as a kid fresh out of high school who hires a camera crew to film him in hopes of becoming a celebrity." LOVE Bo Burnham.

The Shore Report: Letters, Hippos and Dirty Dishes

Last night's ep was kind of a downer, no?

1. I was all for the anonymous letter before, but now that it was delivered, it is obvious that Snook and Jen should have just told Sam. They did too good a job convincing people it wasn't them because they weren't even out that night... which really pins it on Angelina (because the boys would never turn Ron in). Now, Angelina (who knows they wrote the letter) is totally going to turn them in! The sh$t will really hit the fan. Fail.

2. I really do believe Sam and Ron love each other. And they are cute together when Ron isn't drunk or they aren't fighting. And maybe all that bad boy behavior is in the past for Ron and he really wants to be with Sam now.... but he lies too much. And drinks too much. And dances with skanky girls and then comes home to 'smush' with Sam too much. ISam may be annoying (and on occassion, pathetic), but I'm totally Team Sammi.

3. Anyone else think Angelina blew up way too fast when Mike confronted her about the dishes? She went from 0 to 60 in about 2 seconds. She's crazy.

4. As much as I should hate it because the guys are so mean.... I love any scene that involves MVP scheming to extract grenades.

We Got A Situation

The Situation on Dancing With The Stars? Gosh, I hope so!

While ABC won’t make an official cast announcement until August 30th, The Situation will reportedly be joined on the competition series by reality star Audrina Patridge, singer Brandy and former NFL star Kurt Warner.

SAMMI, come on, girl. Ron is such a jerk. You two are have one bipolar rollercoaster of a relationship. I get it, he's cute; he snuggles with you; 'it's better being with [him] than not' (her words, not mine). But you two's got problems. End it.

Are you offended by Jersey Shore?

I caught some bits and pieces of the Jesery Shore premiere last Thursday night on MTV and found myself mildly entertained. It is basically Real World- if all of the roommates were crazy partiers from the NY/NJ/RI area. I'm not going to watch it religiously, or probably even try to remember the 'stars' names, but if it's on... sure, I'll probably tune in.

Apparently, not everyone feels the same way.

Italian-Americans are pissed about this new show, sending in complaints to UNICO ('unique' in Italian, it is an Italian-American service organization). Plus, Domino's just pulled its advertising during the show's timeslot. Go to TV Guide to read the full story...
